Tropical Storm Philippe is still out in the open waters of the central Atlantic, not posing a threat to land.
The only other area watch-worthy right now is a tropical wave that is some several hundreds miles W-SW of the Cabo Verde Islands which could still become a tropical depression within 2 to 3 days, according to the National Hurricane Center.
