Mayo, Florida is temporarily changing it's name to Miracle Whip, Florida

Who knew Mayo, Florida was even a place? Located in Florida's panhandle about an hour and 45 minutes away from Jacksonville, FL, the small town is home to less than 1,500 residents. On Saturday, August 25th, they announced that they will be temporarily changing their name to Miracle Whip, Florida. 

In a marketing campaign with Kraft Heinz, citizens were captured reacting to the name change of their small city. According to SunSentinel, the town will make somewhere between $15,000 and $25,000 for changing it's name. the money is set to be used to beautify the city. 

Camera crews will be in the city filming everyone tossing out their boring old mayo and bringing in the Miracle Whip.
