Six years into the College Football Playoff it is still fun to take a look at what the BCS rankings would look like today. The website BCSKnowHow.com simulates the rankings every week, and the latest edition features a major change.
When the first simulated BCS standings were unveiled earlier this month, Alabama was in the No. 1 spot with Ohio State at No. 2. Well, the Buckeyes remain in that slot, but the Crimson Tide have fallen to third.
LSU, previously ranked No. 3, has vaulted past OSU and taken over the top spot. That means if the BCS still existed, LSU and Ohio State would currently be in the drivers’ seat to make the title game.
