Arjei Henderson was released him from his letter of intent this week after not qualifying academically to attend Florida. He has quickly managed to land on his feet at a solid Ohio Valley Conference program.
Henderson was not alone in his belief that he would ultimately get into school at Florida, as Dan Mullen even indicated that the four-star signee would arrive in Gainesville following the first weekend of Florida’s training camp.
“Henderson is finishing up [class], he will be here this weekend and he has things to finish up just because of where his school calendar was,” Mullen said to open camp.
When that didn’t happen, Florida allowed Henderson to leave this week.
Before signing with Florida, Henderson was committed to Oklahoma and appeared in the 2019 Under Armour All-American Game.
According to his father, Henderson is headed to Jacksonville State.
