Former FSU QB Danny Kanell is open to the idea of staying in house for its next Head Football Coach.
“FSU absolutely needs to give serious consideration to keeping Odell Haggins on as head coach,” Kanell tweeted on Monday. “I hope he gets the opportunity to make his case.”
Haggins has been on staff at Florida State since 1994, back when Kanell was suiting up for the Seminoles. The program’s defensive line coach since 1996, Haggins is 3-0 in two stints as the interim man in charge after Saturday’s win over Boston College..
The current and former players have tremendous respect for the longtime assistant. The fan base seems to be showing that as well.
