Rookie TE Josh Oliver missed the first 6 games of the season with a hamstring injury. Last week he played 25 offensive snaps compared to Seth DeValve's 49 as he was eased into the offense. Jaguars Offensive Coordinator stated "I Think You'll see more of Josh this week" when he spoke with the media.
"I talked about the unknown last week [referring to Oliver], and I thinks some oif the unknown was clarified for us," DeFilippo said. "He held his own and did well. He got knocked in the face a few times and knocked some people in the face a few times and came back. It wasn't perfect. It's never going to be perfect. But I think he's the type of athlete that has the skillset to where the more playing time he gets, the think the better he's going to get".
The Jags are currently 6.5 point favorites over the Jets at Home this week according to Bovada.
