Former UGA QB Aaron Murray Now XFL QB for Tampa Bay Vipers


Aaron Murray led Plant High to a state title in 2008 and started for four seasons at the University of Georgia. He is the SEC’s all-time leader in passing yards (13,166) and passing touchdowns (121). After suffering a knee injury during his senior year, he fell to the fifth round of the 2014 NFL draft, where he was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs. He later spent time on the practice squads for the Arizona Cardinals, Philadelphia Eagles and Los Angeles Rams . Earlier this year, he played in seven games for the Atlanta Legends of the Alliance of American Football.

Murray also has been a college football analyst for CBS Sports since 2017.
