Second-round pick D.J. Chark signed a four-year deal with the Jaguars early Friday night. The deal is worth about 4.5 million and slotted to get a 1.3 million signing bonus. Chark is the second LSU player taken by the Jaguars in the last two years after drafting running back Leonard Fournette with the fourth pick in 2017.
Chark caught 66 passes for 1,351 yards in four years for the Tigers last season and the 6'4 receiver posted a career-high 40 catches for 874 yards last season. Chark ranked second in the SEC averaging 10.6 yards per punt return, finishing his college career with 1,817 all-purpose yards.
The Jaguars now has six of their seven 2018 draft picks under contract, with first-round pick Taven Bryan remaining unsigned.
