Florida quarterback John Reaves has died at the age of 67.
Reaves was an All-American quarterback for the Gators in the late 1960’s, early 1970’s. In 1971, he set an NCAA record for most career passing yards and set an SEC record with 56 career passing touchdowns.
According to his obituary in the Tampa Bay Times, his cause of death is under investigation.

According to a death investigator for the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner, a family member last heard from Mr. Reaves by text on Saturday but couldn’t reach him afterward.
The family member found Mr. Reaves dead in his home Tuesday around 2:30 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.
