Dwayne Johnson Finally Now Owns Rights To "The Rock" Name

We all know the University of Miami's Dwayne Johnson as "The Rock," but its a name he hasn't legally owned, until now.

That all changed recently under a new agreement with the WWE under which The Rock will also join the board of TKO Group, the sports and entertainment company that houses WWE and UFC.

And the social media theorists are hinting that this could mark WrestleMania 40 plans.

Fun fact: The Rock is a name is derived from Johnson’s father, WWE Hall of Famer Rocky Johnson, the first Black champion in WWE history.
