The Hurricanes secured a major commitment from one of their junior visits. Four-star running back Don Chaney Jr. committed to Miami while on campus.
Chaney Jr. plays for Miami (Fla.) Belen Jesuit, so his commitment is obviously a major local get. It has a national impact as well though.
Miami already has 8 verbal commits for the 2020 cycle, all from four-star prospects. New head coach Manny Diaz Hurricanes' are ranked third nationally for the 2020 class.
