Former Alabama QB Jalen Hurts is has fueled speculation about ending up at the University of Miami following his name appearing in the NCAA transfer portal. Thursday night, it was reported that Hurts followed Miami head coach Manny Diaz on twitter, followed by UM's TE coach Brevin Jordan.
As a graduate transfer, Hurts would be eligible for play immediately. Miami finished the season at 7-6 after a blowout loss to Wisconsin in the Pinstripe Bowl, which led to the retirement of then head coach Mark Richt. Hurts went 26-2 as a starter at Alabama before losing the starting job to Tua Tagovailoa.
