Teenager's Crazy Table Tennis Shot Goes Viral

A 15-year-old table tennis player from Norway has become a star after a video of a crazy exchange with his opponent went viral. Christopher Chen appeared to be down and out as he frantically dived to return a soft shot. He managed to return the ball but found himself underneath the table.

Instead of conceding the point, Chen stuck his paddle up and his opponent managed to smash the ball right into it. The ball miraculously made it across the net and his stunned competitor dove to return the ball. Somehow, he was able to get to it and the ball clipped the back corner of the table, earning him the point.

While Chen's amazing shot did not win the point, everybody was impressed with his effort. But, despite that, some experts said even if Chen had won the point, he broke the rules by touching the table's surface while he was on the ground.

“I lay under the table and thought the ball was lost. So I just did something I thought was fun. Amazingly, he hit my racket," Chen said according to News.com.au. “I heard a lot of applause, and then I realized it was happening. It was insane.”

Chen would go on to win the match taking all three sets in the victory.
