Nick Saban Announces That LB Chris Allen is Out For the Season

The Alabama Crimson Tide is already down two linebackers heading into the 2018 season. On Saturday, Nick Saban announced that Chris Allen is out for the season. This news comes on the heels of losing another linebacker, Terrell Lewis, to a torn ACL in the off-season. Also, Right Tackle Matt Womack is expected to miss 4-6 weeks due to a foot injury.

Many expect the Tide to maintain their position as the #1 ranked team in the nation, but Nick Saban is of course quick to provide his insight on the situation.

"“You all just think that every time something happens, we just s— another player…”, Nick Saban said.

Personally, I don't think that's exactly how it works. I do however think that Alabama will find a way to fight through this adversity, and I wouldn't bet against them being in the College Football Playoff.
