Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer was placed on paid administrative leave last Wednesday as OSU investigates a domestic violence issue from 2015 regarding a member of the coaching staff and his wife, and whether or not Meyer acted appropriately when he found out about the incident.
According to Bill Landis of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, while on paid administrative leave Meyer is forbidden from contacting any players or coaches, can not use any communication associated with the school (school email/phone), and can not step foot on OSU's campus:
"Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer is not permitted any contact with players or coaches while he's on paid administrative leave pending a university investigation. Additionally, Meyer does not have access to any university-issued communication devices or his school email account.
Meyer is also not permitted on university property, which includes the Woody Hayes Athletic Center and the football offices." - Bill Landis, Cleveland Plain Dealer
These parameters last through the duration of the investigation.
Got some clarification from Ohio State on Thursday on the parameters of Urban Meyer's paid administrative leave https://t.co/fzefTWXfc3— Bill Landis (@BillLandis25) August 9, 2018
