“I will be leaving the university of Florida to better my opportunities,” - Gators freshman WR Justin Watkins
This comes days after being arrested on four charges: two third-degree felonies for domestic battery by strangulation and kidnapping-false imprisonment, as well as two misdemeanor battery charges. On Tuesday, Gators head coach Dan Mullen announced that Watkins had been suspended from all team activities.
He was the 89th best ranked player in the Class of 2018. He has since deleted the tweet.
