SEC Schools Dominate List of NFL Cap Dollars Spent

LSU leads the way out of all the schools in the country, their alums are set to earn $160,369,274 this year, followed closely by Alabama at $157,122,963.  Here's the full Top 25 list provided by overthecap.com

9 total SEC schools made the Top 25, including Georgia at #4 and Florida at #9. The SEC in is set to have $1.2 billion spent on its former players. Then it’s the Big Ten with $834.41 million, Pac-12 ($796.4 million), ACC ($789.6 million), Big 12 ($419.21 million), The American ($299.85 million), Mountain West ($231.81 million), Mid-American ($190.55 million), Conference USA ($154.3 million), the Independents ($130.37 million, largely from Notre Dame), and the Sun Belt ($96.34 million). Players from outside the FBS fall somewhere in the middle, with a total of $643.31 million.

It should be noted that the list could change before the start of the 2018 season. For example: if the Falcons give Julio Jones the contract he's been seeking, Alabama would pass LSU.
