Florida Gators redshirt junior Jalen Hudson will be returning to the university, per the CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein. Hudson declared for the NBA Draft in March, but did so without hiring an agent, thus not forfeiting his remaining eligibility.
Hudson averaged 15.5 points and 3.9 rebounds in just over 26 minutes for the Gators this past year, helping Florida to get to the second round of the NCAA Tournament before losing to Texas Tech.
Hudson returning is great news for Florida, and bolsters a lineup that will be returning starting G KeVaughn Allen and starting F Kevarrius Hayes.
Jalen Hudson is returning to Florida next season, per his father. Entered 2018 NBA Draft without an agent. Huge news for Mike White and the Gators.— Jon Rothstein (@JonRothstein) May 29, 2018
