Bills Safety Micah Hyde has a solution to cut down helmet to helmet hits

Fine the quarterback. The logic of this idea, in Hyde's mind, is to eliminate helmet-to-helmet hits by fining QBs who lead receivers to dangerous positions.

Start fining the quarterbacks,” Hyde said, per Mike Rodak of ESPN. “They’re the ones who are throwing the ball right there. It’s tough for us [defensive players] to be able to adjust last second to get our head to one side, the other side — up, down. We’re trying to make a play like the receiver is. It’s the sport of football.”

Hyde makes a point. Defenders are just trying to do their job; make catching the ball difficult. A QB under this rule would be fined for doing his job poorly vs a defender doing their job well based on how they grew up playing the game.
