This year’s Jacksonville Film Festival (Jax Film Fest) is gearing up to illuminate the cultural landscape of Northeast Florida with its upcoming theme, “Viva La Cinema,” which underscores that movies and the art of filmmaking will never die.
Viva La Cinema will take place the weekend of Friday, April 12th through Sunday, April 14th with various locations in downtown Jacksonville serving as cinematic venues, hosting film blocks and events designed to engage and enthrall attendees. From narrative features to documentary shorts, the festival's lineup spans various genres and themes, including macabre, psychological thrillers, coming-of-age, LGBTQIA, cultural differences, and more.
